Linguva does not require account registration. All learning data — quiz results, progress, and statistics — is stored locally on your device and never uploaded to any server.
Data Storage
The app does not collect or store personal data on external servers. All of the following are kept exclusively on-device:
- Quiz results and scores
- Learning progress and statistics
- Language preferences and selected languages
- App settings and preferences
AI Quiz Requests
To generate quizzes and exercises, the app sends requests to AI services. These requests contain only the necessary parameters (such as selected language and difficulty level) — no personal data, identifiers, or device information is included.
Responses are used solely to display content within the app and are not stored or linked to any user identity.
Microphone & Audio
The app requests microphone access exclusively for pronunciation and speaking assessment features.
Audio is processed in real time and deleted immediately after analysis. No audio data is stored, retained, or shared with any third party.
Analytics & Crash Reporting
The app uses Firebase (Google) to collect anonymous usage analytics and crash reports. This helps identify issues and improve the app experience.

This data is anonymised and cannot be used to identify individual users. It is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Advertising & Attribution (iOS)
On iOS, the app uses Apple's official Ads Attribution API to measure the effectiveness of Apple Ads campaigns, and SKAdNetwork for privacy-preserving, aggregated campaign measurement.
No individual user profiles are created. Attribution data is aggregated and handled entirely by Apple's frameworks in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy.
Payments
Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) and Google (Play Store).
On iOS, for Apple Ads campaigns, the Apple Ads Attribution API records the following three events in order to match Apple Ads keyword IDs:
- App opened
- Subscription activated
- Purchase completed
Each event is linked only to a randomly generated 22-character base64url string. No personal data, no other payment details, or device identifiers are included.
AI-Powered Technology
This application uses Google's Gemma AI models to power certain features:
• Gemma 3 is used under the Gemma Terms of Use.
• Gemma 4 is licensed under the Apache License 2.0.
When content is submitted to AI features, it is processed securely to provide app functionality only. Data is not stored after processing and is not used to train or improve the models.
AI is used to generate word quizzes and exercises within Linguva: Learn 50+ Languages. Speaking assessment features are also powered by AI.
Third-Party Services
The only third-party services used are:
- Firebase (Google) — analytics, crash reporting, messaging
- Apple Ads Attribution API — iOS campaign measurement
- Apple SKAdNetwork — aggregated iOS ad measurement
- Apple / Google — payment processing
No other third-party libraries or SDKs are integrated.
Children's Privacy
Linguva is not directed at children under the age of 13. No personal data is knowingly collected from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please get in touch immediately.
Your Rights
Since all learning data is stored locally on your device, it can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the app. For any other data-related requests, please use the contact below.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notification. Continued use of Linguva after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
